Wireless Sensing and Systems Research Group
The Wireless Sensing and Systems Group at University of South Florida focuses on research for next-generation wireless systems and applications. We work on wireless microwave and millimeter-wave systems, millimeter-wave imaging, radar, signal processing and communications. Our group is affiliated with the Center for Wireless and Microwave Information Systems.

June 19, 2024: We have a paper in the 2024 International Microwave Symposium.
May 28, 2024: Congratulations to Mehmet for receiving the 3rd place for Early-Career Research Awards in Radar Sensor Technology Conference for his work on ranging using OFDM signals.
April 21-25, 2024: We have two papers in SPIE DCS Radar Sensor Technology.
April 15-15, 2023: We have two papers in IEEE WAMICON 2024.
Nov. 19, 2023: Stavros will be giving a tutorial in the 26th International Symposium On Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications.
August 17, 2023: Our collaborative work “Multiplicative Frequency Diverse Active Incoherent Millimeter-Wave Imaging” has been published in the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.
July 26, 2023: Stavros will be co-chairing session "Near Field Imaging Methods" in AP-S/URSI 2023, Portland, OR and presenting our work "Near-Field Synthetic Aperture Radar Utilizing a Commercial V-Band MIMO Radar Sensor".
July 13, 2023: Our invited work “Non-Destructive Imaging of Defects Using Non-Cooperative 5G Millimeter-Wave Signals” has been published in the Sensors : Special Issue on Smart Sensors for Structural Health Monitoring and Nondestructive Evaluation.
June 23, 2023: Stavros received an Early Career Research Award - 3rd Place in 2023 Radar Sensor Technology.
May 2, 2023: We will be presenting two papers in SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing, Orlando, FL.
April 17, 2023: We will be giving a workshop on IEEE WAMICON 2023, Melbourne, FL.
